Michael Moorcock’s Mournblade

In 2012 Département des Sombres Projets released Mournblade, a French translation based the Mongoose Publishing’s 2010 edition of Elric of Melniboné. Determined to outdo themselves, Le Departement’s development team set a benchmark in game design and presentation, and over the following years have continued to release new publications and expansions.

Today (2021), Mournblade remains the only Eternal Champion roleplaying game actively being published and used Le Departement’s own CYD (Choose Your Dice) system.
